For over twenty years we’ve been using our business and legal process expertise to deliver support to our long-standing (and much valued) clients.
We’ve always been privileged to work with clients from across a range of sectors but it’s fair to say the vast majority of these have been within the legal, financial and insurance sectors, that said, we’ve also worked with a number of charities along the way.
We have a proven track record in helping third sector organisations free up their time and funding, here’s a recent case study which we’d like to share:
A public sector case study
Our client received a complex and highly sensitive data subject access request (DSAR) which needed to be actioned fast. The case involved tens of thousands of documents and the local authority was under serious financial pressure and time-constraints, it didn’t have lots of resources to throw at the problem – headcount had been cut to the bone and there was no specialist team standing by to deliver the work.
Once we had been appointed and briefed, we were able to upload the mountain of relevant documents and using up-to-the minute document review software, we sifted the documents to de-duplicate, de-thread and discard non-relevant items.
Working closely with the client’s HR and Compliance teams, our staff completed the data processing and human review, redacting where appropriate and ultimately delivering the right documents for the DSAR, on time, to budget and in line with legal requirements. The whole project was successfully handed over within three weeks.
What do our public sector clients gain from working with us?
As of June 2025, it is estimated that 18% of the UK workforce is employed in the public sector but the economic and productivity challenges of the public sector are well documented.
Many services that the public sector delivers are non-negotiable – there is a statutory obligation to provide them. Unforeseen circumstances such as a staff absence or an unexpected event such as receiving a large DSAR or FOI request can cause serious disruption to those vital services.
At Global BPO, not only can we provide the expertise and resources, which might otherwise not be available to your public sector organisation, we can help you save money too – meaning there is more available to keep the frontline services running.
