Our Client Manager, Suzie Young, spends a lot of her time answering questions – so we thought we would turn the tables and ask her what are the most frequent questions when businesses are thinking about using Global BPO’s services.
We hope her top 5 most asked questions (and their answers) will be a useful starting point for those thinking about shaking up their internal processes and becoming more efficient and profitable in the year ahead.
- How does it actually work, if we partner with Global BPO?
Our teams of highly skilled specialists are based in South Africa. We deal with all recruitment, employment and management matters, training etc. and carefully match our staff to your needs. We work hard to build long-term relationships with clients, understanding their businesses and processes so that we can work as part of your teams. Our staff work via each client’s preferred system, with all the usual security and data confidentiality protocols in place.
- What about data security?
As you’d expect, data security is a key priority because we understand how important it is to all our clients. We are ISO/IEC 27001– certified which means we have a risk management system in place for data security and we adhere to best practices and principles enshrined in this International Standard. We are regularly audited by our existing clients too to ensure the highest standards are maintained. We are never complacent and consistently review and monitor our policies and procedures.
- How would you support us?
It’s a collaborative process. We would visit your business and spend time talking to your teams to understand your aims and pressure points, for example, are you:
- struggling with meeting tight deadlines,
- trying to manage a merger and/or integration of systems and processes,
- failing to recruit the right skills,
- managing a thinly stretched team due to staff absence,
- under pressure on compliance issues; or
- looking for cost savings?
We would then present our findings and make suggestions on how we could best help you meet your particular challenges.
- Do your staff take South African bank holidays?
It depends on what our clients prefer. Usually, our teams follow the same bank holidays as the client, for example, a team working for a London-based law firm would take UK bank holidays.
- What happens if it doesn’t work out with a member of staff?
This doesn’t happen very often as we take time to understand your requirements and source staff with the right cultural fit for your business. We are always conscious of the team dynamic too when assigning staff to client projects and we find we don’t often need to make changes. However, we are always client-led so if there is ever a problem, we manage this swiftly to ensure you are getting the service you need.
