At Global BPO we have noticed that work during the summer months isn’t as predictable as it used to be.
Once upon a time things were expected to quieten down – particularly if you worked with clients or colleagues in Europe, where the month-long “August shut down” was sacrosanct – but not anymore.
At Global BPO, we have seen an evolution happening for some time now; it’s no longer quiet over the summer, in fact work surges are quite likely and often more difficult for our clients to deal with as staff still expect to take their leave over summer.
What’s the answer?
Of course, it’s not just during the summer months that your law firm might be stretched by a sudden upsurge in work – tight deadlines can arise due to factors outside your control such as a court-imposed timetable, winning some significant work that you don’t currently have the in-house resources to cover or a sudden resignation you weren’t expecting.
