
Chairman

James qualified in 1978 at Ashurst Morris Crisp & Company.
In 1987 he joined Charles Russell as a Partner. He specialised in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, flotations, partnerships, and corporate finance and has been involved in numerous acquisitions and disposals of private companies, both to UK and foreign purchasers.
During his 25 years at Charles Russell, James was Head of the Corporate Finance Group (1997-2000) and Head of the Corporate/Commercial Service Group (2000-2006). He became Managing Partner of Charles Russell in 2007, a position he held until 2011.
James is actively involved in fundraising for a number of charities and even ran the London Marathon in 2010 as part of a Charles Russell team.
Director

Prior to joining Global BPO as a Director in 2010, Peter had for the previous 10 years been an Executive Director in Ernst & Young’s Global Outsourcing operation. During this time Peter advised some of the firm’s largest global clients on their outsourcing strategy, and was also instrumental in Ernst & Young’s own development of a captive offshore operation in Bangalore, India.
A Subject Matter Expert, Peter has developed and delivered outsourcing programmes for some of the world’s largest organisations and across many industry sectors. He has particular expertise in the real estate sector, financial services and technology. Peter was also responsible for creating and co-hosting the quarterly Global Compliance Forum, a Europe-wide group that brought together, on a regular basis, many leading outsourcing practitioners and users.
He speaks frequently on outsourcing matters in the press and in industry fora.
Director

David Wartski co-founded Global BPO with Jan Scholtz in 2001.
He is qualified to practice as a solicitor both in England and South Africa. After graduating from the University of Natal with a degree in law in 1996, he joined Deneys Reitz Inc (now Norton Rose) where he worked until February 2000 when he emigrated to England. He has worked in London as a solicitor since June of 2000.
David works with a number of Global BPO’s UK accounts and leads our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
Director

Jan Scholtz is a co-Founder of Global BPO and manages Global’s operations in Cape Town, South Africa. Jan is a solicitor qualified in South Africa and England and Wales and worked as solicitor in the UK between 1997 and 2003. He was involved in high profile class action litigation cases, such as The Society of Lloyd’s v Sir William Jaffray. Jan returned to South Africa in January 2003 to set up Global’s Cape Town offices.
Jan has a keen interest in Information Security and led Global BPO through the ISO 27001 accreditation process.
Jan is actively involved in furthering our social responsibility vision. He serves the Board of the Thembalitsha Foundation and also interacts with a number of charities.
Account Manager

Alex began her career in business process outsourcing in 2000 at Accenture before moving on to Ernst & Young (EY) where she spent 8 years. As part of EY’s global outsourcing group she managed service delivery to a portfolio of blue-chip clients across a number of sectors including technology, financial services and real estate.
Alex co-developed bespoke solutions to help streamline her client’s compliance processes. During the implementation and delivery of these solutions she acted as a single point of contact for her clients, liaising with teams in over 100 countries to facilitate a consistent quality of service underpinned by customised workflow and reporting technology.
Her experience established her as key player in EY’s global compliance strategy team responsible for designing standard processes and web-based platforms to further improve the efficiency of service delivery. She was also involved in creating new solutions in response to market demand and co-hosting the Global Compliance Forum.
Operations and IT Manager

Kenneth Lehmkuhl joined Global BPO in 2010 as Operations and IT Manager.
Kenneth has a degree in Software Engineering (BSC-ISE) with special interest in Artificial Intelligence and Decision Management Systems. Since graduating he has focussed on end user desktop support and custom server and infrastructure solutions.
Prior to joining Global BPO he consulted for a number of corporate clients (including Global BPO) on Information Security, Business Continuation and Disaster Recovery, IT Best Practice and Server infrastructure Solutions. Kenneth is responsible for monitoring the standard of local service delivery on our key accounts, managing all IT requirements for Global BPO and is currently leading the development of Global BPO's bespoke Workflow Management System.
